INGREDIENTS
2 sticks unsalted butter 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 cup white sugar 2 eggs
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips OR 1 cup chips and 1 cup nuts OR 1 cup nuts and 1 cup dried fruit
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugars, add eggs and mix until light. Mix
flour, soda and salt and add to batter, stirring well. Stir in vanilla and add-ins. Bake teaspoonfuls
5-7 minutes at 375 degrees. Dough can be stored covered and refrigerated for one week.
